Please find below confirmed sanctions from the Hard Yakka / Totally Workwear VFL and Swisse VFL Women’s matches played on the weekend.

 

Oleg Markov – Richmond (VFL)

The VFL Match Review Panel charged player Markov for rough conduct against Coburg player Lochlan Dickson during the second quarter of the VFL Round 11 match between Richmond and Coburg on Saturday 15th June 2019 at Holm Park, Beaconsfield.

Based on the available video evidence and medical report, the incident was assessed as careless conduct with medium impact and high contact. The incident was classified as a two match base sanction. The player has no applicable record which impacted the penalty. An early guilty plea enables the player to accept a one match sanction.

 

Outcome – accepted one match sanction

 

Tom Goodwin – Port Melbourne (VFL)

The VFL Match Review Panel charged player Goodwin for striking Williamstown player Billy Myers during the second quarter of the VFL Round 11 match between Port Melbourne and Williamstown on Sunday 16th June 2019 at Adcon Stadium, Port Melbourne.

Based on the available video evidence and medical report, the incident was assessed as intentional conduct with low impact and high contact. The incident was classified as a two match base sanction. The player has no applicable record which impacted the penalty. An early guilty plea enables the player to accept a one match sanction.

Jessica Hosking – Carlton (VFLW)

The VFL Match Review Panel charged player Hosking for rough conduct against Western Bulldogs player Courtney Mullins during the third quarter of the VFLW Round 6 match between Carlton and Western Bulldogs on Saturday 15th June 2019 at IKON Park, Carlton.

Based on the available video evidence and medical report, the incident was assessed as careless conduct with high impact and body contact. The incident was classified as a two match base sanction. The player has no applicable record which impacted the penalty. An early guilty plea enables the player to accept a one match sanction.
